Three mobile broadband allows high speed internet access from your laptop practically anywhere in the country. Mobile broadband works differently to home broadband in the fact that you do not need a phone line, just a decent mobile phone signal. Simply attach the USB modem (or dongle) to your laptop and you'll have broadband everywhere you go. Three's network now covers 99% of the UK and they offer speeds of upto 2.8mb. They offer 3 main packages with differing download limits, Lite, Plus and Max. |
Good speeds and coverage24th March 2008 by Rob Davies
I've had Three Mobile Broadband for 3 months now and have always found the speed to be pretty good. Sure, it's not as fast as my home broadband but none the less I've been happy with it to date and the coverage is good.

Three broadband is great value, at £10 per month and no upfront cost you really cant fault the speeds and service you receive. Very Happy.
No Coverage!20th November 2007 by Craig Little
I've had a bad experience with 3 mobile broadband having signed up last year. I chose 3 mainly because they were the cheapest. When I signed up I was living in Hampstead (North West London) and everything worked fine. At the time of buying the service I asked if it would work in Worthing where I've now re-locoated and was told that it would. However, I've had no coverage since I've moved and despite numerous phone calls 3 won't cancel my contract. My mobile phone coverage is fine (though it's with o2 not 3) so it's not that my house can't get a phone signal.
