Simple but slow!11th November 2007 by Spencer McQueen
I went for post office broadband because it was advertised as simple to set up and use and I have to say it was. I had it up and running very quickly. Though the connection has been reliable the speeds have been slow. I'm on the 8Mb package and usually only get speeds between 1mb and 2mb. I've spoken to customer support and they've not been able to do anything to increase my speed, so all in all I'm a little disappointed.

Post office broadband is so slow! It's actually slower than the BT connection I switched from so I'm fuming! I certainly won't be recommending them.

I set my Dad up with Post Office broadband. It seems fine for his needs, he sends the occasional email and checks the Leicester city news so doesn't really need a massively quick connection.
