Pipex were recently acquired by Tiscali. Pipex were quite heavily consumer focus until their acquisition, however Tiscali are now going to use Pipex as their business broadband brand.

Pipex broadband is part of Tiscali and has a range of packages all offering speeds of up to 8Mb and a range of download limits.

Pipex Mini, the most popular of the Pipex broadband packages, offers a free wireless router and free weekend and evening calls though downloads are restricted to 2Mb per month making it most suited to light broadband users who are not looking to download large amounts of data.

Pipex used to be good but they have definitely got worse, the problems really started after they were bought by Tiscali. I changed last month to Plusnet which has been much better in terms of both customer service, speed and reliability.

I've been with Pipex for a numner of years and used to love the service but have found it has gone downhill dramatically recently with speed slowing down and the customer service is a joke.
