Virgin Broadband Size: M is an excellent package for the price.  There's a setup fee of £25 and you'll need to switch your phone line rental to Virgin at a cost of £11 p/m (same as BT price) but this is still a great deal. 

It has no restrcition on downloads, making it suitable if you plan to download loads of music or video.  It's also useful for online gaming, listening to digital radio and internet phone (VoIP). 

On top of this, cable broadband is generally faster than ADSL Broadband, as it uses a fibre optic cable, rather than your old phone line.  A basic level of security is provided including virus protection.  Virgin broadband is Mac compatible.
