Plusnet Broadband Option 1 offers a low cost 8mb broadband connection, without the need to commit to a 12 month minimum contract. (However there is a connection fee of £47).

This is a very good option for those wanting broadband but are unsure of how long they wish to keep the connection. However, with only a 1GB monthly download limit, Option 1 is only suitable for light users. So, if you enjoy downloading music and video or online gaming, this will not be suitable.
