Orange, O2 and Vodafone are all set to offer iPad mobile broadband deals which will include an Apple iPad as part of the monthly cost of your mobile broadband subscription. These deals are great for many consumers as there is no up-front cost for the iPad since it is spread over the length of the mobile broadband contract. O2 has initially announced 3 different iPad broadband deals with some good short term contract and pay as you go options for those who don’t want to commit to a lengthy contract. Orange has a 10GB deal for those iPad addicts who need big data allowances plus a pay as you go and weekly tariff. Vodafone offer 1GB, 3GB and 5GB plans all on a rolling monthly contract. 3 have recently launched a cheap ipad with mobile broadband deal which should be very popular. Other providers are likely to follow 3′s lead though at present there are no indications that there will be free ipad with mobie broadband deals in the near future.

Whilst some mobile broadband plans which include an iPad tablet may promote the deal as a free iPad with mobile broadband it isn’t really free as you will pay for it over the length of the contract as you would do with any of the popular free laptop deals on offer from most mobile broadband providers.
