Mobile broadband bundles contribute to Vodafone’s success
In a recent report officials from Vodafone have claimed that the company’s profits and success have been driven by the popularity of its mobile broadband bundle.
When it comes to broadband services many consumers in the UK prefer to opt for bundles rather than take separate services through different providers, and with fixed line broadband bundles that include landline and television services as well as broadband have proven extremely popular over recent years, as consumers feel that they save them money and reduce the hassle of managing these services.
Now one mobile communications giant has claimed that its success and increased revenue is in part down to the popularity of its mobile broadband bundles. The claim has been made by communications giant Vodafone, which has stated that mobile broadband bundles have helped to drive revenues in the six months to the end of September.
The company added that across Europe thirty percent of its customers use mobile internet services, and the company has helped to support this popularity through investment in HSPA. The company also said that the success of its mobile broadband bundles had helped to counteract damage caused by stiff competition in the market and by a fall in active prepaid customers.
Officials from Vodafone have also said that its potential and capabilities have been broadened by the introduction of fixed line broadband. With regards to its mobile broadband services Vodafone has stated that it can offer enhanced mobile broadband services with speeds of up to 14.4Mbps in certain areas of the UK. A number of high demand areas are already receiving these enhanced services, and Vodafone has announced that the rollout of improved services will continue across the UK.
