New mobile broadband dongle launched by Vodafone
Mobile phone giant Vodafone has launched a new mobile broadband dongle, which will allow users to connect up to five different devices to their connection at the same time.
It has been announced in recent reports that the mobile network giant Vodafone has now launched a new mobile broadband dongle, and consumers using the dongle will be able to connect up to five different devices to it at the same time. The new mobile WiFi dongle will allow consumers to share their connection with friends and family who have internet enabled devices.
Users will also be able to connect to a wide range of devices and gadgets through the mobile broadband dongle, ranging from lapops and netbooks to iPads and smart phones. The new broadband WiFi dongle will be made available on a number of price plan choices through Vodafone, and the device has a long battery life of up to four hours on a single charge, which consumers have said is perfect for travellers.
For those opting for certain plans from Vodafone the WiFi dongle is even available for free, and in addition to offering a range of longer term contract periods Vodafone will also make the device available on a rolling thirty day contract for those that want additional flexibility.
One broadband industry official said: “Traditional mobile broadband dongles need a USB port on a computer, but by creating a mobile wireless hotspot, Vodafone’s mobile wi-fi lets you connect multiple devices to the internet at the same time. But bear in mind that sharing your connection will also use up your data allowance faster – so make sure you keep an eye on how much you’ve downloaded as out of bundle costs can soon add up.”
