Internet Service Provider Virgin Media has recently enjoyed the honour of being named the UK’s best mobile broadband provider by readers of PC Pro magazine.

Mobile broadband services have become increasingly important to many people in the UK over the last few years, with many using these services for entertainment, socialising, and for work or business. There are a number of mobile broadband providers for consumers to choose from, which means that users are able to find a provider and package that suits them perfectly.

One provider of mobile broadband services is the entertainment and media giant Virgin Media, which also provides home broadband, television, and home phone services. Recently the Internet Service Provider has enjoyed the honour of being named the UK’s best mobile broadband provider by readers of PC Pro magazine.

The announcement was made at the recent 2010 PC Pro Reliability and Service Awards, and the provider managed to beat off stiff competition from the likes of Orange, Vodafone, 3, and other rival mobile broadband providers. Officials described the company as being the ‘surprise winner’ of the category.

According to officials from the magazine its readers had given praise to Virgin Media for the level of customer service that the company offered as well as for the value for money that it offered on its mobile broadband services and packages. The runner up in the category was O2, which was also praised for its customer service and value for money but received some criticism for its mobile broadband speeds.
