Virgin Media expands to Derry

It has been announced that communications and broadband giant Virgin Media is expanding its services to the Derry area from this June, giving residents and businesses access to a range of exciting new services.

Communications and broadband giant, Virgin Media, has recently announced its plans for the Derry area. Officials from the firm have confirmed that the company is expanding its services to Derry from June of this year, which means that from next month residents and businesses in the area will be able to look forward to accessing a range of exciting new services from the media giant.

The upgrade of its high speed fibre-optic network in Derry means that Virgin Media will be able to provide some much needed speed and high quality service in the area, which will be welcomed by many. Broadband, digital, and home entertainment services will all be enhanced for those in the area, with around thirty thousand homes having access to the advanced services that Virgin Media offers for the first time.

From around the middle of June many people will be able to access the superfast broadband service with speeds of up to 100Mbps as well as high quality entertainment services such as the Virgin TV service with all of its features such as catch up TV. Business users will also benefit from the upgrades thanks to the ease and convenience of high speed broadband from Virgin.
