Virgin launches broadband service for students
Broadband and communications giant Virgin Media has launched a new broadband package that is designed for students, and is available to those with NUS cards on a nine month contract.
Students are amongst the many consumer groups that have become increasingly reliant on broadband services over recent years, and these days there are many students that are looking for a good deal on broadband services. Many students are now using broadband and internet services for research and projects as well as for staying in touch with loved ones and keeping in touch with mates.
It has been announced that broadband and communications giant Virgin Media has now launched a short contract broadband designed for students. The broadband package is available to students that have an NUS card and is available on a nine month contract, making it more flexible and affordable for students.
The exclusive offer for students is only available for a limited time from Virgin, and will expire at the end of October this year. Students that have their NUS cards will also be able to benefit from a generous fifteen percent discount when other Virgin mobile services are added, including mobile broadband services.
For students having the option to take a shorter contract broadband deal can be very useful, as it will allow them to enjoy all of the benefits that come with broadband and related services but without being tied into a long term contract for a year or two years, which can be financially difficult to manage for many students who have limited budgets.
