Travel passes unveiled by Virgin Media

Media and broadband giant Virgin Media has revealed that it has launched a new travel type pass that is designed for use by those that are using mobile broadband services abroad.

Many of us have become used to using convenient passes for everything travel to sporting events and more, and these passes can often save us money on the various services that we are using. Now a broadband and media giant has launched its own passes that are aimed at customers that want to use mobile broadband services whilst abroad.

The travel passes have been launched by Virgin Media. The fibre optic broadband provider, which has recently announced impressive growth in customer numbers for the final quarter of last year, has launched the broadband travel passes to help people that are going abroad and will want to access mobile broadband services whilst they are there.

Mobile broadband services have become increasingly popular over the past couple of years, and now many people find the need to use these services whilst abroad whether for personal or for business purposes. This can work out expensive for the user, but Virgin has designed it mobile broadband travel passes to help those that need to access mobile broadband abroad. A number of pass options will be available starting at ten pounds for a one day pass.

A Virgin official said that the travel passes would alleviate some of the worries that users may face when using mobile broadband abroad. He said: “Whether it’s searching for the best pizzeria in Rome on your mobile or uploading photos onto Facebook with a laptop and mobile broadband, customers now have control over what they spend on holiday.”
