Communications and broadband giant Virgin Media has recently announced the launch of a new offer that enables consumers to enjoy three months worth of free broadband access.

With competition in the broadband market still tough many Internet Service Provider have continued to look for ways to try and increase their customer base and lure consumers away from rival providers, particularly in the current climate when every household is looking for the best deal possible when it comes to services and products, and most people are doing their best to cut back on their spending.

The Virgin Media broadband has responded to this need by launching an offer that will allow customers to enjoy three months worth of free broadband from the media giant, which has recently completed the roll out of its superfast 50Mbps broadband service, which will provide millions of households with access to high speed internet using the advanced fibre optic technology.

New customers that now switch over the Virgin Media’s broadband service will be able to enjoy broadband access at up to 10Mbps in speed for free for the first three months, and after this period the price of the service will be fourteen pounds a month. The company is also offering free installation, which means that in total consumers stand to save around forty five pounds.

Customers that want to take up the offer will need to have a Virgin Media phone line installed, which will be installed for free under the free installation offer, and will then pay eleven pounds a month for the phone line, which will include free weekend and evening calls to UK landlines. The offer of three months free and free installation is set to be for a limited time, which means that consumers who are interested in signing up and benefiting from this will need to act quickly.
