Free installation of broadband incentive launched by Virgin
Any new customers who sign up for Virgin Media fibre optic broadband services either on its own or as part of a number of combined packages will now benefit from having the installation carried out for free.
A new incentive that offers free broadband installation to help any customers that decide to switch over to Virgin Media’s fibre optic broadband service has been announced recently by the cable network operator.
Customers will benefit from an immediate saving of £30, which is how much it currently costs for the broadband service to be installed, although to qualify customers must sign up directly through Virgin Media’s website.
The Virgin Media broadband only packages start at £15 per month and offers users an unlimited 10Mbps broadband connection, while the broadband and phone deals that are offered, which includes unlimited weekend phone calls to UK landlines and begins at £5 per month.
Also included as standard with the broadband packages from Virgin Media are V Stuff extras that offer facilities like online backup and storage along with PC Guard security and a free wireless router.
A £20 credit will also be added to the first bill when customers take out the TV, phone and broadband bundles that start at £14 per month.
Virgin media also offer the fastest broadband connection speeds in the UK with its current fastest service running at an incredible 50Mbps with truly unlimited download capabilities.
This current installation incentive is likely to be the first of many money saving offers to come from Virgin Media following a recent announcement by the company’s CEO that it would be working hard to win new customers following a lower than expected increase in subscribers in the first quarter of 2009.
