Talk Talk and Virgin improve customer service scores
It has been revealed that two Internet providers have seen their customer service scores increase significantly compared to last year in the recent Think Broadband Internet Service Provider Customer Service Awards. The two service providers that have seen their customer service scores improve more dramatically than others are Virgin Media and Talk Talk.
Whilst speeds and reliability of broadband services have always been major issues amongst those looking for broadband services customer service levels have become more and more important. The Think Broadband Customers Service Awards have been handed out based on how well the individual Internet Service Providers have been performing in terms of the customer service levels that they are providing.
The top award for customer service levels went to O2 Broadband, and the runner-up in the awards was the popular BE Broadband, which has recently slashed the price of its value broadband package. O2 scored seventy five percent in terms of customer satisfaction and BE scored seventy one percent. The lowest level of customer satisfaction was with Orange, which scored just thirty four percent.
Virgin Media saw its customer satisfaction levels rise from forty four percent last year to forty eight percent this year. The highest increase was seen with Talk Talk Broadband customer service levels, which have increased from thirty nine percent last year to forty five percent for this year.
Speaking of their top award a spokesperson for O2 stated: “We launched O2 home broadband with a commitment to offer a top quality service for our customers and coming top of the thinkbroadband customer service award for the second year running is a great endorsement of that. The fact that our other ISP, BE Broadband has come a close second again shows we are committed to our customers across both our businesses. We’re very proud that our customers are pleased with our broadband customer service and we will continue to focus on this in 2010.”
