Faster speeds available from Talk Talk

Consumers that are keen to get their hands on faster broadband speeds could find that the Internet service provider, Talk Talk, has the perfect solution.

Many people these days are keen to enjoy faster broadband speeds, as more and more people are engaging in high bandwidth activities such as streaming content, downloads, and gaming, all of which require faster speeds and a more stable connection. Internet provider Talk Talk is offering something that could be of interest to such broadband customers, in the form of a Fibre Optic Boost add-on.

With the add-on customer will be able to access download speeds of up to 40Mbps according to officials from Talk Talk. The improved service would also offer increased upload speeds of up to 5Mbps. Whilst pricing is yet to be confirmed, new customers will also be able to access the improved speeds from Talk Talk.

Provision of the service was announced by Talk Talk officials at the end of last year. One spokesperson for the company said: “This boost is ideal for a wide range of customers, such as families who all want to be online at the same time, people wanting to stream HD content, or gamers needing lightning quick response times.”

Faster speeds have become increasingly important to broadband customers over recent years, with people doing more and more online, from accessing services and information to enjoying entertainment, shopping, playing games, keeping in touch with loved ones, networking, and even watching their favourite television shows and movies.
