Broadband giant to promote itself through entertainment show
It has been reported that one of the UK’s leading communications and broadband giants, Talk Talk, is set to promote its services through sponsorship of one of the UK’s most popular entertainment shows later this year.
According to a recent report the UK communications and home broadband giant, Talk Talk, has found a new and novel way of promoting its services, and this will be through the sponsorship of what has become one of the most popular entertainment shows in the UK, which is set to start later on this year.
A sponsorship deal has been set up by entertainment company Fremantle Media, television station ITV, and Talk Talk broadband which will see Talk Talk sponsoring the hugely popular reality talent contest, X Factor, which is due to start on ITV later this year. Talk Talk will apparently promote itself as the ‘brighter phone and broadband company’ with its sponsorship of X Factor.
The sponsorship deal will see Talk Talk sponsoring the show, which was created by music mogul Simon Cowell, who is also one of the judges, along with Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Cole, Aussie singer and actress Dannii Minogue, and music manager Louis Walsh, both on ITV1 and ITV2. Talk Talk will also be sponsoring the award winning X Factor website.
An official from ITV stated: “The X Factor is one of the most talked about shows on British television and TalkTalk is the perfect partner to take advantage of this fully integrated sponsorship package.” Fremantle Media officials added: “We are delighted to be working with such an important brand as TalkTalk in helping to bring their extensive multimedia sponsorship programme to life. The X Factor franchise keeps growing and we are certain that this sponsorship together with TalkTalk’s new brand campaign will provide a strong communication platform and an exciting proposition for TalkTalk’s customers.”
