Communications giant T-Mobile has a launched a new prepay mobile broadband offer to try and simplify getting connected and increase accessibility for consumers.

Mobile broadband is an innovative, young, and exciting technology, but whilst it has become very popular in a relatively short period of time many people have still not been able to sign up to this sort of service. Some simply don’t want to sign up to lengthy contracts with the various mobile broadband providers, even though many offer pretty competitive deals.

One of the communications giants involved in mobile broadband has recently announced the launch of a new prepay package that could enable consumers to sign up for short periods and at a low cost. The offer comes from mobile communications company T-Mobile, with officials from the firm claiming that the new deal will simplify and increase availability of mobile broadband for the masses.

The new deal enables consumers to take out packages for thirty days, seven days, or even just one day. The aim of the package is to complement an existing landline connection. Costs will be twenty pounds for the thirty day package, ten pounds for the seven day package, and two pounds for the one day package.

One official, Richard Warmsley, head of internet and entertainment at T-Mobile, stated: “We have removed all complexity from the mobile broadband story, giving customers the confidence to simply pick it up off the shelf and start using it.”

He went on to state: “Mobile broadband has hit the mainstream and we have made it simple for anyone to buy, use and understand. Our simple approach to pricing is also reflected in our fair use policy, T-Mobile is the only network that doesn’t punish its customers with run-on rates.”
