Brits want to surf the web on the beach
The results of a recent survey have shown that many consumers in the UK want to be able to get broadband access whilst out and about getting fresh air
Whilst the weather in Britain may not be the best most of us want to get out and about, whether it is to the park, having a few relaxing drinks in the local beer garden, sitting in our own gardens, or even hitting the beach. However, most people don’t want to have to go without access to the Internet when getting some fresh air, as the results of a recent survey have shown.
According to the data, which was recently released by T-Mobile, around forty four percent of Brits want to be able to enjoy access to the Internet whilst relaxing in the back garden, thirty two percent want to be able to access the Internet whilst on holiday, around twenty percent want to be able to surf the Internet as well as surf the waves whilst at the beach, and around eight percent of us want to be able to get online whilst enjoying a few drinks in the beer garden of our favourite pub.
T-Mobile also confirmed that around twenty five percent of new customers are now mobile broadband customers, which further reflects consumer demand for Internet access whilst enjoying some relaxation outdoors. With a massive seventy nine percent of us getting less than one hour of fresh air each day, according to a YouGov poll, the ability to be able to get online outdoors with such ease and convenience could enable many of us to enjoy increased time outside in the fresh air.
For those with fixed line broadband the ability to surf the Internet whilst at places such as the beach, the pub, or even the garden, is restricted. However, for those opting for mobile broadband there is complete flexibility, and this means that you don’t have to compromise on Internet access to enjoy the outdoors, and vice versa.
