Sky reigns victorious in broadband poll

A recent poll into the satisfaction levels of broadband customers has seen relative newcomer Sky come out on top in terms of performance and service.

There are a number of different Internet Service Providers on the market these days, and because the market is so competitive now many offer seemingly great deals on broadband packages, enabling consumers in the UK to enjoy great deals and affordable access to the Internet via a broadband connection.

However, according to the results of a recent poll one provider has come out on top when it comes to customer service and performance. Sky has not been a major player in the world of broadband for very long, but the poll saw the media giant come out on top amongst consumers. The results of the survey showed that Sky customers are the most satisfied with their broadband service and performance.

The survey involved consumers rating their Internet Service Provider based on the service that they have received as well as based on the performance of the ISP. There were six different satisfaction areas in the survey and Sky managed to get a full house, taking top place in all six of the categories.

One industry official involved in the research stated: “Sky is the UK’s fastest growing broadband provider. They have recently set their prices and packages at a level that has attracted a large number of new customers, but it also seems that the general service Sky is offering is good enough to keep existing customers happy.”

Whilst Sky did come out on top when it came to overall customer satisfaction the survey also showed that it was Talk Talk that saw the greatest improvement in service and reliability over the past six months.
