When it comes to broadband services speed is a very important factor for most users, and those taking out broadband services are keen to get the best possible speeds for the best possible price. Sky Broadband has announced recently that from the start of June some customers can start enjoying increased speeds as a result of upgrades that the company is making.
From the beginning of June customers that are taking out a bundle that includes the free Sky Everyday Lite package will be able to benefit from download speeds of up to 20Mbps. Those that subscribe to a phone and television bundle with Sky are able to get this broadband service for free, but consumers should note that there is a cap on the download limit of 2GB per month.
With speed being such a major factor for those that are taking out broadband services Sky will be able to tempt many customers with the offer, as those that are not overly concerned about download limits but are keen to enjoy good speeds will find that this package could prove ideal, particularly if they are getting the service for free as part of the bundle deal that they take out with Sky.
One casual user stated: “I’m planning to take out television and landline services with Sky in my new home, so being able to get a high speed broadband service thrown in for free is great news. I don’t do a lot of downloading, so the cap on the downloads isn’t a problem. The higher speeds will really help though, and you can’t complain when you consider that the service is thrown in with the bundle.”
