Sky Broadband enjoys another strong quarter
Entertainment and broadband giant BSkyB has reported strong figures for yet another quarter, having signed up tens of thousands of additional subscribers in the last quarter.

Whilst many people are still very keen to ensure that they are careful with their money and are keen to cut back on their outgoings it seems that broadband is something that we simply cannot live without and are not prepared to cut back on. This has been reflected in encouraging sign up figures for broadband providers, with BSkyB recently releasing positive figures for yet another quarter.
The entertainment and broadband giant released its figures recently for the first quarter of this year, up until the end of March. Once again the provider enjoyed strong performance and impressive profits, signing up tens of thousands of new broadband customers during that period.
According to the figures around 155,000 new customers signed up for broadband with Sky between the start of this year and the end of March. This followed record growth that was seen by the provider at the end of last year, which means that this is likely to be yet another successful year for Sky.
A Sky official said: “The strength of our financial performance has been equally broadly based, with good revenue growth across retail, wholesale and advertising. Strong cost control and continued margin expansion has delivered 24 per cent growth in operating profit and free cash flow is up 60 per cent. As these results show, the whole team remains focused on executing our strategy.”
Have you signed up for a Sky broadband package this year?

May be because of this amazing for SKY figure (155,000 new customers) my broadband speed was slow down for around 2.5 Meg (from 11.9 to 9.45) since the end of January? ))
