The launch of a satellite service in the UK from a European broadband company will give many people in rural areas the chance to enjoy adequate access to broadband.

There are many people all across the UK who live in areas where broadband is not easily accessible. For example, many people that live in rural areas that are classed as hard to reach areas find that they have little to no access to broadband services. However, this is something that could be easily addressed by satellite broadband services.

It has now been revealed that there is to be a launch of a satellite service in the UK from a European broadband company, which will provide those in rural areas with the chance to enjoy access to broadband speeds of up to 10Mbps. The company, Skylogic, has reached a deal with the satellite specialist Avonline. The four million pound deal means that Avonline will be able to sell the Tooway satellite broadband service from Skylogic in the UK.

The good news is that the coverage for the UK is one hundred percent, which means that even those in rural and hard to reach areas will be able to benefit from the service and get the access that they need. Mark Wynn, the company’s managing director, said: “Covering 100 per cent of the UK, this service will ensure that everyone who wants a fast and reliable broadband connection can now get connected.”

He also said: “Avonline has been at the forefront of UK satellite communication solutions for the past ten years. We are delighted to be the first major UK satellite services provider to sign a contract for the next-generation Tooway satellite broadband service.”
