Tiscali customers being encouraged to switch providers
Customers that currently take their broadband service through Tiscali are being encouraged to switch via incentives being offered by rival Internet Service Provider, Talk Talk.
The Internet Service Provider Tiscali has run into various problems lately, such as debt problems, loss of service for customers, and more. However, it now seems that the ISP has to deal with the issue of other rival ISPs try and poach its customers, with one major provider offering a cash incentive for customers to switch from Tiscali to its own broadband service.
The Carphone Warehouse Internet Service Provider, Talk Talk, has jumped in to take advantage of the problems that Tiscali is experiencing by trying to encourage its broadband customers to switch from Tiscali to Talk Talk in exchange for a financial incentive. This will come as another big blow to Tiscali, which has had more than its fair share of problems to deal with recently.
In order to try and get Tiscali customers to make the switch, Talk Talk is offering them a bill credit worth fifty pounds for switching to its Essentials Phone and Broadband package. It is also offering a free connection, which normally costs nearly thirty pounds, as well as the first three months on the package being free.
Recently broadband industry officials cast doubt over the future of Tiscali, and this move by Talk Talk will do nothing to help the plight of the troubled ISP. One comparison site urged consumers to get out of their broadband deals with Tiscali due to its alleged uncertain future, and the move by Talk Talk could result in an increasing number of broadband customers making the switch.
