Broadband customers looking to save money could benefit from an ongoing offer from Plusnet which enables consumers to enjoy half price broadband line installation.

For many consumers getting a great deal on broadband services is very important, particularly in the current financial climate where many people are desperate to cut back on their outgoings. A number of broadband providers have been launching special offers that can save consumers money, such as free broadband services for a fixed period, installation offers, and reduced pricing on broadband services for a fixed period.

One broadband provider Plusnet has recently announced that it is offering half price broadband line installation to customers, which means that you will be able to get a new line installed for just £49.99. This offer will be open until the end of January 2010, so consumers still have plenty of time to jump on board and take advantage of the deal should they wish to save some money on their installation.

Plusnet offers a range of broadband package and services, including the cheapest UK stand alone package, which is priced at just £5.99 per month and is called Plusnet Value. This package offers speeds of up to 8Mbps and monthly download allowance of 10GB. Other packages on offer from this broadband provider include Plusnet Premiums, which offers speeds of up to 20Mbps and download allowance of 80GB a month. This package costs £11.99 for the first three months and then £15.00 a month thereafter.

Commenting on the deal one industry official said: “Many people find the cost of installing a new landline daunting, and are put off signing up to ADSL broadband, or switching provider, because of this. However, deals like this make it far easier for people without a landline to get online, and Plusnet is a great choice of provider, with its award-winning broadband and customer service.”
