In a recent survey Orange mobile broadband has come out on top as the leading mobile broadband provider in the UK, having scored highest in seven out of fifteen categories.
A recent independent survey was carried out into mobile broadband providers by research company YouGov, and the results of this survey saw Orange mobile broadband come out on top, and not for the first time. The mobile broadband and network provider managed to score highest in seven out of fifteen categories according to reports, enjoying highest scores in areas such as reliability, ease of use, and customer service.
Many consumers find that polls such as this are invaluable when it comes to choosing the right mobile broadband service, as it gives them an idea of the areas in which the mobile service provider excels, which then allows them to pick a service that matches their needs. The success of Orange mobile broadband could see an increase in the number of mobile broadband customers taking on Orange services, so the victory may come as very good news for Orange.
An official from Orange said that the success was quite an accomplishment for the company. Asif Aziz, director of Broadband and Home, Orange UK, said: “Retaining our position as the top mobile broadband provider in the UK is a great accomplishment which we’re really proud of. This win is recognition of our strong focus on network quality and brilliant customer service and it’s our aim to build on these, as well as the products and services we offer, to ensure our customers continue to benefit from a high quality user experience.”
Another broadband industry official said Orange packages offered good value for money, stating: “Orange also offers a selection of great value, flexible mobile broadband packages, from rolling 30-day contracts, to its Early Bird plans that come with free overnight downloads, and even the UK’s cheapest monthly tariff at just £5 a month for a 500MB allowance – which currently comes with a free 500MB data bundle, giving you 1GB a month for just £5.”
