Flexible working in the UK is something that the government has been trying to encourage, and with the various mobile broadband services and devices available is something that is becoming a reality for more people. One mobile network provider has now launched new services aimed at further promoting flexible working for employees.

Whilst many people may remember the typical nine to five working day with a fixed hour lunch break in between there is no doubt that for many workers the levels of flexibility when it comes to their jobs has increased enormously over recent year. Thanks to mobile broadband and other services, and the wide range of high tech devices on the market, more and more people are able to enjoy flexible working in the UK these days.

The government has already expressed its interest in seeing more companies promote flexible working for employees, and this is something that has already become a reality for many workers. One mobile network provider has now announced the launch of new mobile broadband plans that are set to further increase the accessibility and popularity of flexible working.

One of the new broadband plans from the mobile network provider Orange is the Business Everywhere 9-5 deal, and this enables users to access the Internet via their phones between the hours of 9am and 5pm. The plan offers unlimited data for ten pounds per month. However, for those that work outside of these traditional hours there is the Business Everywhere 5-9 plan, which offers the same access for those that want to use the service between 5pm and 9am.

An official from Orange said: “We know that traditional working hours are changing and we want our mobile broadband offering to reflect the working lives of our customers. So, with Business Everywhere they’ll be able to choose the plan that offers them the best value based on when they want to use their mobile broadband.”
