Orange claims customers can enjoy summer more with flexible working

Mobile network provider Orange has claimed that workers in the UK can make the most of the British summertime and enjoy their time more by working flexibly through the various mobile devices available.

Whilst summer in the UK is not usually the best there are days where the sun is shining, temperatures are soaring, and people are keen to get out there and enjoy the small amount of good weather that we are blessed with. However, for many people work commitments get in the way of being able to enjoy the summer, and by the time the working day is over so is the good weather.

However, the mobile network provider Orange has stated that some workers could make the most of the good weather over the summer by working flexibly through the use of mobile devices such as smart phones and mobile broadband, which enable them to do work away from the office thus leaving them more free time during the day time to enjoy the good weather.

Many companies now allow flexible working, as employees can use their mobile broadband access to conduct their duties at anytime, which means that for many people there is not as great a need to be in the office all the time. Orange claims that this flexibility will mean that people can enjoy the weather, catch up with friends, and spend some quality time during the good weather rather than being stuck at work.

The company said: “The continued development of mobile technology means that we’re now able to choose to be and work in more places than ever before. This year, we want to encourage Britain’s employees to think about how they spend their time and to consider working more flexibly, to allow them to do more of the things they want to.

Working remotely, whether from home or on the journey there, can be just as productive as working from the office. So why not use the reach of our top-ranking network to finish off some emails, make a few calls or organise the diary for the week and then make the most of your free time?”
