A huge advertising campaign has recently been launched by Orange, one of the main broadband providers in the UK in order to praise both the reach and the quality of its 3G mobile broadband network.

In order to highlight the benefits that are available in using its 3G network to both new and existing customers, one of the country’s leading broadband providers, Orange has introduced a brand new marketing push.

Awareness of the 3G technology used by Orange to provide high-speed mobile internet to more than 93 percent of the population in the UK is to be raised throughout this month and December with a print and outdoor campaign that will cost the network operator £4 million.

Designed as an explanation to readers, these adverts will highlight the fact that the 3G network used by Orange is likely to cover the areas in which they will need access to the internet according to comments from the mobile broadband provider.

The brand director at orange UK, Spencer McHugh advised “This campaign was devised to have a fresh and fun appeal to ensure that people see different versions of the adverts wherever they go, keeping the campaign new and intriguing. At Orange we’re proud of our network and we wanted to remind customers about this great reason to be on Orange.”

Connection speeds of up to 20Mbps are now being offered across Orange’s home broadband network according to an announcement made by the operator last month.

This latest marketing campaign by Orange is most likely due to recent mergers made between other mobile network operators that will now be increase the levels of competition with the mobile broadband marketplace and will see most operators fighting hard to win new customers and keep existing ones.
