SME broadband services launched by O2
Communications and broadband giant O2 has recently launched SME broadband services, which are aimed at users such as sole traders and home workers.

In this day and age, with access to so much advanced technology, more and more people are enjoying the flexibility and ease of working from home in a range of different professions. This has enabled many people across the UK to develop a healthy balance between their home and work life, as they are able to fit their work around family commitments.
The increase in the number of people working from home has been recognised by Internet Service Providers. One ISP has now launched services that are aimed at SMEs such as sole traders and home workers. The SME service has been launched by the communications and broadband giant O2, which has launched new packages targeting people that work from home.
The new plans are called the Home Office Package and the Office 10 package, which is the next one up. The first one supports two PCs and costs £20.50 per month for non-O2 customers. It will cost £15.50 per month for O2 customers for this plan. Users get 20Mbps download speeds, 1.3Mbps upload speed and two McAfee licences for business computers. There is a 150GB usage allowance with this plan.
With the second tier package there is support for up to ten PCs and although the download speeds are the same as the Home Office plan upload speeds and usage allowances are doubled. The cost for this plan is £27.50 per month for new customers and £22.50 per month for existing ones.
