Study results reveal most recommended ISPs in UK

The results of a recent survey have shown that the two most recommended Internet Service Providers in the UK are Virgin Media and Sky, with the two companies said to be the most likely to have a loyal customer base.

These days there are many different Internet Service Providers for consumers to choose from, and no matter what level of package or what sort of price consumers are looking for when it comes to their broadband service there are different deals available from a wide range of service providers that are vying for the custom of consumers.

Amongst the leading Internet Service Providers in the UK are Virgin Media and Sky, both of which offer some great deals on broadband services as well as related and additional services such as television and home phone services. In fact, the results of a recent survey have indicated that these two providers have the honour of being the most recommended Internet Service Providers in the UK, and that their customers are more likely to remain loyal to them compared to customers of other ISPs.

The survey involved polling over twenty four thousand broadband users across Europe, and was carried out by the Internet promotion company Satmetrix. Two of the other larger Internet Service Providers in the UK, Talk Talk and BT, were also found to have a loyal customer based according to the responses of the survey.

An official involved in the research said that the study enabled Internet Service Providers to see how well they were doing in comparison to their rival providers. He said: “These benchmarks allow companies to see how consumers rate them relative to their competitors when it comes to customer loyalty.”
