Poor performance from mobile broadband
It has been revealed in a recent survey by consumer campaign group Which? that the performance from mobile broadband services in the UK is not up to scratch compared to the performance of fixed line broadband services.

Mobile broadband is a technology that has become increasingly important to many people in the UK over the past couple of years, and a rising number of people have signed up to mobile broadband to enable them to access the Internet whilst on the move, whether for personal use of for business purposes.
However, whilst there is now plenty of choice available in terms of plans and providers for those that want mobile broadband services a recent study has revealed that compared to fixed line broadband the quality and performance of mobile broadband in the UK is not up to scratch.
The study was carried out by the consumer campaign group Which? and almost ten thousand members were polled as part of the study. The top customer satisfaction score for mobile broadband services came in at just fifty six percent, and this compared to a whopping eight nine percent for fixed line broadband services.
Many of those that were polled as part of the survey said that they had experienced problems with connecting to the mobile broadband service whilst on the move, and many others had issues with reliability, speed, and quality of broadband access. Which officials have urged consumers to ensure that they do not commit to a mobile broadband service without first conducting some research into the typical performance of different mobile broadband providers.

I seem to read a sotrt about mobile broadband not performing as well as it should every other week yet the mobile networks still get away with trying to pull the wool over consumers eyes; it’s about time the government stepped in and made this false advertising illegal!
