The results of a recent poll have revealed what many mobile broadband users in the UK want from their mobile broadband services, with one of the top requirements being improved speeds.

Mobile broadband services have become more and more popular with users over recent years, and this technology is invaluable to all sorts of consumers, from business users that need to stay connected and continue with work whilst away from base to regular users that simply want to be able to get online whenever and wherever they wish.

When it comes to mobile broadband services consumers that use this technology want different things from their service depending on why and how they use it, and the types of things that consumers want from their mobile broadband services have been highlighted by a recent poll carried out by a broadband industry group. Speed was one of the major issues that was highlighted in the report, with over fifty percent of consumers showing an interest in mobile broadband but around twenty five percent feeling that the speeds offered with mobile broadband needed to be increased.

The data from the report also showed that twenty three percent of consumers wanted to have mobile broadband services that offered greater download limits and usage allowances, and a further twenty two percent said that the reliability of mobile broadband services was an issue, and that they wanted a service that offered greater reliability.

Whilst mobile broadband packages from the various providers have become more and more affordable over the past couple of years, with many offering tempting incentives such as free laptops, eighteen percent of respondents to the survey said that they would like to see the cost of using mobile broadband services reduced and made more affordable.
