Mobile devices are ‘future of the Internet’
According to one industry figure mobile devices are set to become the future of the Internet, fuelled by continued advancements with mobile broadband and internet technology.

Over recent years a rising number of people have started to use mobile broadband and internet services, which have enabled them to get online wherever and whenever they wish to. Many people these days are reliant on mobile internet and broadband services, especially business users who have a need to get online whilst on the move.
One industry figure has now predicted that mobile devices are the future of the internet, with the continued advancements in this sector set to fuel an increase in the number of people that use these devices rather than desktop computers in order to access the Internet.
The prediction was made by Adobe’s CTO Kevin Lynch, who said that as mobile broadband develops and these devices continue to become more powerful there will be an increase in the number of people that switch solely to using mobile devices rather than their desktops.
Many people are already using smart phones and mobile broadband dongles in order to get online the majority of the time, and this could be boosted when 4G technology is rolled out. With 4G consumers will be able to enjoy faster, more reliable mobile broadband, which means that they will be able to do more using their mobile devices than they currently can.
Would you consider using mobile devices rather than desktops as your main method of internet access?
