According to a recent report the majority of users of mobile broadband experience issues of some sort, with some of the common issues being raised relating to matter such as connection quality or speed. The recent survey was carried out by YouGov and Acision and looked at the issues experienced by users of mobile broadband via smart phones, laptops, tablets and other internet enabled devices.

The results of the study showed that around seventy seven percent of mobile broadband users had experienced some form of quality or service issue with their service. Whilst this sounds like a lot of people who are experiencing issues it actually reflects an improvement compared to last year, when eighty four percent of mobile broadband users were found to be experiencing problems.

When polled about their experiences, mobile broadband users highlighted the things that they wanted from their providers in terms of service as well as quality. One official said: “In order to maintain a sustainable competitive edge, operators need to evolve from a purely technology-driven approach to a more customer-centric approach and gain control of all aspects of the service. Operators have the opportunity to lead the market on service differentiation, transparency and accountability, by offering clarity on service quality and insight into network performance.”
