Free Laptops are a definite plus in current economic climate
In todays current economic climate it is of no surprise that the so-called free laptop is, at the moment, a PC market that is growing at an incredible rate.
At a rate that is defying all slumps in the economy, free laptop deals with mobile broadband is becoming more and more popular. Almost 30 percent of the broadband sales in the summer of this year were said to be account for by mobile broadband deals with bundled laptops and by the end of the year they are looking to completely overtake the sale of standalone mobile broadband.
Although nothing is ever totally free with broadband deals they are still a great way to get out of paying a large debit or credit payment to get a brand new laptop. Add to this the fact that you can also access the internet from practically anywhere you want.
A spokesman from a popular broadband site said “You will inevitably be paying a far higher monthly subscription for a mobile broadband deal with a laptop included rather than just a USB dongle, and will probably have to sign up for a minimum of 18-months, but the laptop will be yours to keep after this time. It’s this clincher that seems to be swinging the vote for new mobile broadband subscribers.”
The ability to keep up with repayments for the entire length of the contract was one thing he did say that customers should be totally happy that they can do.
It would appear that for many mobile broadband customers laptop bundle are something that is too attractive to ignore as Christmas approached. As many families look to save on gifts, the latest statistics this month have shown a huge jump in the sale of mobile broadband bundles with “free laptops”.
“Broadband bundles have become the cheaper option for broadband customers who are looking for cost-effective broadband packages with added value services,” Suggested research firm Point Topic.
