A week that saw mobile broadband use go through the roof
Over the past week a couple of major events will have seen many people getting online using their mobile broadband or smart phones to access the internet.

The end of April and the start of May have marked two major events that will have had many people getting online whilst on the move using their mobile broadband and smart phones to access the Internet and keep abreast of what has been going on.
The first event was, of course, the Royal Wedding on 29th April, with many people logging on to the Internet to see Kate Middleton and Prince William tie the knot. Whilst many people were given the day off for the event others will have been logging on whilst working or even whilst on holiday to get a glimpse of Kate’s dress and see the historic wedding take place.
Just two days after the nuptials it was announced that the long sought after Osama Bin Laden, who was responsible for the September 11th terrorist attack in the United States, had been found and killed. Whilst the news is thought to have broken on Twitter before anywhere else many will have logged on to see what the President of the United States had to say about what had happened.
The weekend has been a very eventful and historic one, not just for the UK but on a global basis, which will have seen people in many countries getting online using their mobile broadband and smart phone internet services.
Did you get online whilst on the move to keep up with these historic events?
