Eclipse doubles data usage limits for home and business broadband
It has been announced by Eclipse Internet that it has decided to double the data usage limits on both its home and business broadband packages, giving users even greater freedom.
For heavier users of the Internet and for business users having data usage restrictions in place can be a problem, as it means that if they are not careful, and if the data usage limit is relatively low, they could exceed the limit and this could end up costing them or could interfere with their broadband service. However, this is something that may no longer be an issue for home and business users of Eclipse Internet.
It has been announced in a recent report that Eclipse Internet has decided to double the amount of data usage on both its home and business broadband packages, which means that users will be able to enjoy far more freedom when using the Internet and far greater peace of mind. Whilst the Business Gold package remains the same, as it was unlimited anyway, other packages have been changed to reflect the increased data usage limits.
The Home Office package from Eclipse now has a data usage limit of 10GB a month, and the Business Bronze package has seen the data usage limit increased to 50GB per month. Those opting for the Business Silver package will be able to enjoy data usage limits of 100GB. There has also been a data usage increase on the home package, which is designed for everyday use, with the data usage on the Home Select package being increased from 10GB per month to a massive 50GB per month.
An official from Eclipse stated: “We’ve increased the limits of these packages in response to changes in the online behaviour of our customers, who predominantly run small businesses either from offices or from home. All our teams, from customer service to marketing to technical support are based on a single site making it much easier for us to respond quickly to the changing needs of our customers, be that higher usage, backup and hosting service or e-commerce.”
