New broadband and call package for businesses launched by BT
Communications giant, BT, has announced the launch of a new broadband and phone package, which it hopes will help some businesses to weather the recession more effectively through reducing costs.
With the recession in the UK still in full swing many households and businesses are suffering. For most it is essential to find ways to cut costs, and already many small businesses have been going bust every month because in the current climate they simply cannot afford to continue running. However, communications giant BT hopes that it has something that could help some businesses to better weather the recession by helping them to cut costs.
BT has recently announced a new broadband and calls package that is aimed at businesses, and could help these businesses to cut costs and save money. The new deal will allow businesses to combine BT Business Total Broadband Option 1 internet access with one of a range of new BT One Plan call packages. The call packages will include calls to mobiles, calls to landlines, and calls to international numbers.
Officials from BT have said that businesses could end up saving up to twenty percent on the price of taking the two different packages out separately simply by combining them into one package. They also said that businesses could save up to fifty percent on the price of calls per minutes by combining these two packages.
One official from BT said: “In uncertain times, cash flow is king. With the introduction of these changes, BT is helping businesses manage their communications spend with one low fixed cost package that they have the power to define themselves based on what they need. This is a natural evolution in the market of communication services.”
