BT broadband customers feel misled
It has been reported that there are many BT broadband customers that have been left feeling as though they have been misled after receiving contradictory information.

It was reported recently in The Docklands that many Internet users who are currently stuck with extremely slow broadband and internet access should see a huge difference in their broadband speeds as a result of the exchange upgrade, which is due to be completed soon and is meant to boost the broadband speeds being received by consumers by a huge amount.
However, many consumers are said to be feeling misled as a result of being given contradictory information by the broadband and communications giant. One consumers living in the middle of the isle said that he had been informed that the cabinet that serves his home will not be getting any upgrade, which means that those served by it will continue to get slow speeds.
The consumer, Ian Dalziel, expressed his anger over the issue, stating: “I am really annoyed. When are we going to get it? The rollout map on BT’s website says we will but now I have been told we won’t get it after all. Internet around here is a laughing stock. You can see the Canary Wharf tower so closely you can almost touch it yet I struggle to get speeds over 1MB.”
An official from BT said: “The upgrade will not cover every single premise. Not every single cabinet is being upgraded at this stage, though the vast majority are. We committed to delivering faster broadband speeds to the area and while delivering this upgrade we continue to look at ways to best help those who will not benefit immediately.”

We don’t care about ‘super fast broadband’ we just want the get something around the advertised speed. Paying for 8 megs, told I would get 4 (which I deemed acceptable for this developping country), but hardly get 0.5 meg
