Zen enjoys broadband best buy honour

One broadband provider in the UK, Zen Broadband, has recently enjoyed the honour of being named Broadband Best Buy by the consumer group Which?

These days most consumers are keen to get the best broadband service at the best price, but this isn’t always an easy task. However, consumers may find the decision a little easier as a result of one broadband company being honoured by a leading consumer campaign group recently. The company was named as Broadband Best Buy by the consumer campaign group Which?

This is then eight Best Buy Award that the internet provider has won, and this year it gained a score of eighty seven percent in satisfaction levels. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the broadband provider has been named as Broadband Best Buy. It was closely followed by O2 broadband, which scored eighty five percent, Utility Warehouse, which scored eighty one percent, and Be Broadband, which scored eighty percent.

The data showed that apart from the top four broadband providers named by Which? the scored for subsequent providers fell rapidly, with the next one to Be Broadband scoring just sixty eight percent, and others scoring even lower. The watchdog also named some ‘Don’t Buy’ providers, which were those scoring lower than the forty percent mark in terms of satisfaction.

One industry expert stated: “Zen scored five stars for customer service, speed and support but only three because it doesn’t offer the cheap broadband of some of its rivals. However, Tiscali, Orange and AOL all scored just one star for customer service – a very poor rating for such big providers. If you’re unhappy with your service, switching broadband provider could save you £135 as well as getting you a better broadband package.”
