It has been announced that the rail service that links London to Stansted Airport is to be kitted out with an onboard WiFi service courtesy of Icomera.

For many people being able to access broadband and internet services whilst travelling is very important, particularly for business users who often need to be connected to their colleagues or employees and need to conduct business whilst travelling in order to make the most of their time and improve productivity.

It has recently been revealed that the rail link service that links London to Stansted Airport is to be kitted out with WiFi services through a platform that is to be supplied by Icomera. The company was chosen to provide internet service access for the new Bombardier Class 379 trains, which have now been delivered to National Express East Anglia.

All carriages in these trains will have constant WiFi access as part of the scheme, which is great news for passengers because they will be able to benefit from getting online and continuing with their business as normal if they are business travellers. For casual users they can enjoy surfing the Internet or contacting friends whilst they are travelling from London to the airport, providing them with convenience and ease.

Andrew Chivers, NXEA Managing Director, said that the new fleet of trains was providing passengers with a new level of luxury, convenience, and ease, with the availability to get online whilst travelling, enabling them to make the most of their time and get things sorted out before getting to the airport.

Has this in-train WiFi service made travelling easier for you?
