Unlimited 24Mbps broadband packages launched by UK ISP TitanADSL
Following a recent team up with two other suppliers of unbundled (LLU) broadband a new range of packages that offer speeds of as high as 24Mbps with no charges for leaving the contract has been announced by broadband service provider TitanADSL.
The launch of a new range of product with speeds of up to 24Mbps, no fees for exiting the contract, lengthy term of contract (30 day cancellation), throttling or port blocking, has been announced by broadband provider TitanADSL, a company that until now had been purely Entanet based, following its teaming up with two other suppliers of unbundled (LLU) broadband services. A £22 per month package that claim to be able to offer users a “truly unlimited 24MB/s [1Mbps upload] service with no restrictions” is the main package on offer.
A statement from TitanADSL said “For the past few weeks we have [CHOSEN] a selection of customers to participate in trials of our new unlimited broadband plans. Our new plans come in 4 choices – 8Mbs Unlimited with 1.3Mbs upload 12 month contract, 24Mbs Unlimited with 1.3Mbs Upload 3 month contract, 24Mbs Unlimited with 2.5Mbs Upload and finally 24Mbs with 1.3Mbs Upload 1 Month contract. All participants have all had positive impact in terms of performance and usage allowance.
We have also catered for users not able to receive our unlimited plans with new fixed capped services ensuring customers receive a solid service. All services come with no port blocking or throttling.”
Cable and Wireless (C&W) and 186K through Murphx, which is technically part of the O2 network, are understood to be the new wholesale contracts that have teamed up with TitanADSL. Existing customers will be allowed to stay on the Entanet platform until they decide that they wish to upgrade said TitanADSL. The move that the ISP Vivaciti made last March is similar to this latest move.
