Phone line rental and broadband bundles launched by ISP IDNet

A new range of voice and broadband bundles have been announced recently by the popular ISP IDNet and will offer customers a single billing solution that will, for the first time, offer the line rental in the cost.

The bundle offers 8Mbps broadband access with a 1GB download limit and a basic line rental. The price for the bundle starts for £24.99 on a single month option or a 12 month contract at only £22.91 per month.

Simon Davies, the IDNet director said “We’re pleased to announce the availability of BT Phone Line rental and call charges direct from IDNet. This means that we are now able to provide our customers with a single bill covering broadband, line rental and call charges. There are no hidden charges and the rates are significantly more affordable than all the large Telecom providers. No call setup charges, per-second billing and, to give customers the confidence that we’re not trapping them into a bad deal, our standard contract term is just one month.”

Unlike many of the other mainstream service providers that offer bundled packages, IDNet is amongst the small number of telcos that is known more for the quality and service it provides than for its pricing so this new is quite important.

The ISP is currently offering its users a range of bundles including ones that offer unlimited evening and weekend or just weekend call options but it is worth noting that just the line rental alone would normally cost a little more than £10 per month.

Unlimited email accounts, free inbound migration, a static IP address, UK based support, backup dial-up account, free caller display and 1470, 1471, 1475, 1571 facilities, no port restrictions and unlimited uploads, anti-spam email filtering, and per second billing are the features that are available on all options of the basic package.
