Many consumers let down by reliability of broadband
It has been reported that many consumers in the UK feel let down by the reliability of their broadband service, with reliability being the most important factor for many broadband users.
Everyone that takes out a broadband service wants the service to be not only affordable but also reliable, as otherwise things can become very frustrating. However, one recent report has suggested that many consumers in the UK actually feel let down by the reliability of their broadband service, with many stating that reliability is one of the most important factors when it comes to their broadband service.
However, a report that was recently released indicated that a massive seventy percent of consumers felt that their broadband speeds did not meet their expectations, and nearly fifty percent of consumers felt that their Internet Service Providers were failing to keep their promises, and felt let down by the ISP.
“It is surprising to see that broadband users valued connection reliability ahead of value for money, customer service and even speed of broadband connection. Nine years after broadband was first introduced in the UK, it is troubling to find that nearly half of broadband customers claim that the service isn’t living up to their expectations.”
He also said that consumers who were not happy should contact their Internet Service Provider in writing, but added: “But if you have exhausted your ISP’s complaints procedure, with no resolution after eight weeks, you should contact cisas.org.uk, an independent dispute resolution service, or otelo.org.uk, the telecommunications ombudsman, and ask them to advise you on the next step you should take.”
