Kenton Group launched Broadband Enabling Technology
It has been announced that the Kenton Group has launched its Broadband Enabling Technology, which is a breakthrough technology that can double signal strength.

According to recent reports the Kenton Group has launched a breakthrough broadband technology in the form of its Broadband Enabling Technology, which is said to be able to double signal strengths in areas that are currently classed as ‘not spot’ areas. It is claimed that this is not only the UK’s but possibly the world’s longest reaching broadband technology.
The breakthrough means that operators will be able to use the technology to bring broadband access to homes and businesses that are in areas where they have been unable to get access to standard broadband services. It means that the one and a half million households with low bandwidth could get connections of up to 2Mbps.
John Larkin, managing director of the Kenton Group, stated: “BET is a truly innovative and unique solution not only in the UK but globally. We are very excited by what its launch means for the future of broadband and providing services to previously inaccessible customers.”
Another industry official stated: “After a year in which the Broadband Forum announced the passing of the 500 million lines landmark, The Kenton Group in a position to make a real difference to the availability of broadband and improve available bandwidths. We welcome BET and will be keeping a close eye on the interest it receives from operators and how they choose to adopt it, particularly as the drive continues for broadband to reach more challenging, remote areas to meet targets for Europe penetration.”
