Google+ Commercial During Thanksgiving Weekend Tells a Tale
As the desire to vanquish the social networking emperor heightened, Google did cast an outdated charm at the powerful emperor’s land. Google knew that the charm wouldn’t open the gates to the forbidden land of Facebook, still they attempted it as they didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. A sure sign that the game has got into Google’s nerves!

The latest of the episode staged when a commercial for promoting the company’s social network, Google+, was spotted on TV over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
This 90-seconds video, which is 30 seconds longer than the usual heavy weight advertisements, was displayed, very tactically, during the biggest sales weekend of the year.
This is not the first time Google + is starring on commercial TV ads. Back in July 2011, when it did debut, it was spotted pitching almost the similar way.
Many love Google +, but that single factor doesn’t give them a reason to switch over to it from their dear Facebook. Google claims that the circle, Google +’s heart, lets users build friends and group of friends more naturally than anything else. They also claim that the circles allow them to share things with certain group of people or friends they wish and not with everyone like their competitor.
This advertisement, according to a Google spokesmen, should help them reach their target audience and also raise awareness about the +. He also confirmed that the Google has increased its investments in marketing Google +.
Google + has a vision of transforming the way people connect, communicate and share across Google. However, they have a tall structure standing right in front of it. As of today, Google + is a kid before this great emperor and he is almost invisible in the shadow of this giant.
However, parent Google is there to back him and watch his steps. So + has an advantage there. Let’s watch this game and see how the drama proceeds. Here’s the commercial, in case you are interested.
