With the demand for broadband and internet access very high amongst hotel guests these days Marriott has decided to offer free internet access to gold and platinum reward card customers.

These days the demand for broadband and internet access in hotels is very high, and with so many people having internet enabled devices, from laptops with mobile broadband dongles and WiFi enabled laptops to smart phones with 3G connectivity, the demand for these services in hotels continues to increase.

One leading hotel chain, Marriott, has now announced that it plans to cater for these demands by allowing some of its customers to enjoy free access to the internet when staying at its hotels. The free internet access will be offered to the hotels gold and platinum card customers, and free internet access will be offered at all of its hotels in the UK and around the world.

The offer of free internet access from big hotel chains has become increasingly common over recent years, as these days this is something that customers frequently look at when deciding which hotel to book. For many travellers being able to access the internet is vital, such as with business travellers, and many do not want the extra expense of having to pay for internet access.

In the United States free internet access in hotels around the country is very popular, and to some degree this is also true in the UK. However, in many other parts of Europe the cost of internet access can be very costly or in some cases is not available in the hotel.
