Entanet enters Sunday Times Tech Track 100
Network operator, Entanet, has entered the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 index at position sixty one following sales growth of fifty three percent over the past three years.
According to a recent report the network operator Entanet has entered the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 index at an impressive 61st, having seen sales grow by around fifty three percent over the past three years. The index by the Sunday Times lists the fastest growing technology companies that are privately owned in the UK.
Entanet supplies a number of Internet Service Providers with broadband connectivity services, and its customer base is now more than eighty thousand broadband customers across the UK. The company works through a national network of partners, and it provides a range of voice and data services, which includes IP telephony, broadband, and private network solutions.
Last year the company saw its sales levels grow to an impressive £17.2 million. It is also currently involved in the deployment of a new generation of broadband services offering up to 24Mbps. It is also investing millions of pounds in its nationwide network.
An official from Entanet stated: ‘We are extremely proud and pleased of this achievement, which clearly identifies Entanet as one of the UK’s leading communications and Internet service providers and places us ahead of many other privately-held ISPs in growth terms. We expect that growth to continue. We are continuing to invest in our network and to grow our customer base in all areas, including broadband, leased lines and voice.’
As a result of earlier trials Entanet became the first to provide end-users with ADSL2+ over BT’s network, although similar services had been offered through a number of non-BT bundles providers. An official from Entanet said that the company intended to continue with its growth and development.
