David Cameron comments on rural broadband investment
Leader of the coalition government and Prime Minister David Cameron has recently outlined his views about the importance of rural broadband investment in the UK.

There are still many concerns about the availability of broadband in rural parts of the UK, with many officials concerned that people in these areas are missing out on the many benefits of high speed broadband access. This in turn is having a knock on effect on businesses and local economies in rural areas, which is something that many people are worried about.
The Prime Minister and leader of the coalition government, David Cameron, has recently outlined his own views on the importance of investment when it comes to broadband in rural areas. The MP for Waveney Peter Aldous called upon the Prime Minister to comment on the situation in Prime Ministers question time recently.
Cameron said that it was vital to start up and developing businesses that investment was made in rural areas. He said: “Particularly in rural areas, broadband is going to be absolutely vital in driving the creation of the small businesses and growing businesses that will be so important to keep the growth of employment in our country. We must put investment in.”
The lack of broadband in rural areas will not only affect businesses and the local economy but also has a serious effect on residents, putting people at a disadvantage when it comes to using online services, doing things such as online shopping, and even when it comes to education for the kids.
